Ever wondered the cause of hair loss in men and in women?
It seems a lot of intelligent myths about hair loss is affecting people in not so positive ways; because they are relying on those myths to be true, and taking action based on those, getting them nowhere at all!
In TCM, (Chinese Medicine) hair and skin are the same; and if the hair is suffering, the skin will be too in some shape or form – make sense right? The hair follicle is inside the skin after all, so how can we separate the two? This is a big problem in western medicine because they categorize the hair as a separate function than the skin, and a different specialist for skin and a different one for hair!
Anyway, the cause of hair loss most people say is unknown – but this is an idea spread by companies who want to make money from you giving you mis-information!
Then the next step these companies did was to target the smarter people looking for real ways to stop hair loss, they went deeper in the science that DHT and other hormone imbalance causes hair loss – but this is not accurate, whilst it is true, there is still something missing which they aren’t telling you!
The hormones don’t cause the hair to fall, they simply cause inflammation in the scalp area, which over time, causes hair to thin, and to stop growing. This means the skin condition in that area is not good, and needs help if you want the hair to restart growing – this is only possible if inflammation is stopped.
Inflammation is not something to be taken lightly – and just because you cannot see or feel pain on your scalp, does not mean it is not inflamed – there are many ways a scalp or skin can be inflamed and a lot of the time you just don’t notice or feel it at all!
You may notice it sometimes when you wake up in the morning (hormones are highest after waking up) and your scalp hurts to touch in certain areas; this is a very obvious sign even if it happens once or twice every couple of months! The point is, if you have hair thinning, you must have inflammation, because without that, your hair will not fall!
Even in trauma causes where the person is shocked from something and experiences hair loss, they too get high amounts of inflammation which causes their hair to fall – but that is still different to female or male pattern baldness so we won’t get into it in.
